Apt. "City of Venice"

History and beauty in Vicenza

Description

Words are never enough to describe the beauty of Venice city, we like to tell you why we gave this apartment its name. The house is located on the "noble floor" of the ancient Villa "Palazzon" in via Biron di Sopra, 132 in Vicenza whose construction dates back to 1699, as can be seen from the effigy placed on the main facade. Historians attribute the initial ownership of this building to a wealthy noble Venetian Lawyer, who used it as a country house to spend moments of serenity and peace away from the Venetian worldliness. Even today in this haven of peace, just minutes from the historic center of Vicenza you can enjoy the silence and the green landscape typical of a country house. From the balcony of this house it is easy to imagine how the rich Venetian lawyer looked out to enjoy the sight of his surrounding properties and the coolness of the evening, enjoying a glass of delicious wine produced by his vineyards. Today this apartment will allow you to relive the same emotions, with the comforts of a modern home, equipped with every comfort and with fine finishes. Three large bedrooms, a kitchen with a fireplace, an impressive living room and two bathrooms. Air-conditioned environment, windows with mosquito nets and a generously sized private garage as well as reserved parking spaces outside. The large common garden available to the houses of “Villa Palazzon”, complete a framework for a stay in a prestigious context, where children can play freely and safely and where you can have The apartment “Venice”, like all the apartments of “Villa Palazzon”, is just 5 minutes' drive from the Barracks Del Din, and 15 minutes from the Ederle Barracks. The city center is easily reachable by bike (10 min) or by car (5 min). The American School Bus has just one stop in front of the main gate of the Villa.

The city of Venice

This apartment takes its name from the symbolic city of our jewel region of inestimable historical and architectural value: Venice. This city has an inimitable charm and we recommend you during your stay in Italy to enjoy it at different times of the year. Certainly do not forget to visit it during the carnival parties, when it is colored with amazing masks and clothes! A walk to Piazza San Marco to visit the basilica, an evening at the La Fenice theater, a visit to the Gallerie dell'Accademia, Palazzo Ca 'Rezzonico or the Peggy Guggenheim museum, an afternoon in Murano to admire and buy the magnificent glass, or a walk in the colorful Burano are just some examples of what you will not have to miss in this city during your stay in Italy. Finally a small suggestion: a tour around the Venice lagoon by gondola, the typical rowing boat, is always very fascinating, but do not forget, to avoid final surprises, to agree and negotiate the price before boarding! What we suggest to taste in Venice: eating in Venice can be very expensive, and the advice is to avoid restaurants with greater visibility, especially those facing Piazza San Marco. We suggest you instead to go into the alleys and narrow streets (small streets) and to find a few bacaro (typical Venetian bar) away from mass tourism where you can taste wine and "spunciotti" the typical Venetian fish tartlets, including sardines in saor, folpetti and creamed cod. To visit the city of Venice, we recommend that you use the train from Vicenza that arrives comfortably in the center of the city and that has a very high frequency that will allow you to find the right solution. Distance from Vicenza: 37 mi (60 km) Motorway A4 naturally direction Venice.
